Profile of composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born 27 January 1756 in Salzburg, who died 5 December 1791 in Vienna of “severe miliary fever.” The cause of death was recorded as “mold fever,” followed by a modest funeral at St. Stephen’s Cathedral. The obituary lists musical influences: Haydn, Antonio Salieri, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Constanze Mozart née Weber, later remarried to Georg Nikolaus Nissen in 1809
